Are Lacey and Nathan from MAFS UK still together now? (2024)

You might not have guessed it from their honeymoon, but Lacey and Nathan have become the standout couple of Married at First Sight UK's 2024 series with fans (see: us) rooting for them right through to final vows.

With their decisions now airing ahead of the reunion episode, viewers are wondering whether or not they are still together now.

Nathan and Lacey's wedding got off to a bit of an awkward start, after Nathan mistook Lacey's twin sister for his bride only to then not give Lacey the reaction at the altar that she had been after ("Nice?").

Their honeymoon was a little shaky, with Lacey voicing some initial concerns about how Nathan was responding to some more serious conversations. When telling him about some traumatic past experiences, Lacey felt he 'didn't give much back'. But when she raised that with him, it lead to an honest and more vulnerable chat about his experience of ADHD, which ultimately brought them closer together.

When the pair moved in with each other, they went from strength to strength. Despite dramatic dinner parties and clashes within the group, Lacey and Nathan remained largely out of the drama and continued to keep their focus on their relationship.

That being said, Lacey wasn't afraid to speak up when she felt she needed to – at one point, calling Luke out for a comment she felt was unfair to her (he later apologised with malt loaf).

Nathan's first proper post-wedding meeting with Lacey's family went a little bit wrong, after his "banter" failed to land and upset Lacey's mum. But by home stays, he fully won her over – doing DIY jobs around the house and getting the seal of approval.

On their final date in the experiment, Nathan pulled out all the stops to arrange a helicopter ride for Lacey. He'd been planning to tell her he loved her, but a bout of motion sickness delayed that gesture.

Later that evening, he was able to make his declaration. He gifted Lacey a star, and said: "I love you to the stars and back."

In a sweet moment, Lacey had also clearly pre-planned to drop the L word, having bought Nathan a teddy with a voice box inside that said the same. Yep, we were crying too.

Going into their final vows, Lacey explained how she felt the one thing she needed from Nathan was for him to use the opportunity to open up about how he felt about her.

Lacey told Nathan that she had felt their communication differences at times during their journey on the show, but "the more you opened up to me" the more she had started to understand him.

"I believe you were brought to me for a reason," Lacey told Nathan, as she started to tear up. "You make me feel safe, heard and loved."

When it came to Nathan's turn, he also acknowledged that communication was their biggest challenge. He noted that the reassurance that Lacey needed was "quite difficult" for him.

"There is so much I love about you," Nathan said. "I love your quirky little mannerisms, like the way you scrunch your nose. I love how confident and spontaneous you are."

"I know I'm difficult to read sometimes…" Nathan paused to hold back tears. "I love how patient you are with me. And how you have grown to understand me and how I think... I never met someone who pushes me outside my comfort zone, making me a better person."

He signed off his vows, "I love you to the stars and back."

The pair, unsurprisingly, decided to stay together and continue their relationship outside of the E4 show.

Are MAFS UK's Lacey and Nathan still together now?

With the reunion episode yet to air (November 13), we are yet to get an official post-MAFS update for the couple.

Sharing a reaction to the final vows episode on Instagram, Lacey admitted she was "sobbing".

Nathan posted his own social media reaction, telling his followers: "Thank you all for the lovely messages, quite overwhelmed with the love and support, was such a great day!

"A lot of pressure on them vows lol, Im truly grateful for the experience and to be able to share the journey with you all [sic]."

Married at First Sight UK airs on Channel 4 and E4 in the UK.
